Apple Cider Ice Cream

Makes 1/2 gallon

  1. In a large pot, whisk the cider and sugar together.
  2. Add the cinnamon sticks.
  3. Bring the cider to a boil.
  4. Reduce to a sticky/caramel texture, about 1 hour.
  5. Combine with the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  6. Chill before freezing, as needed.
  7. Freeze using an ice cream maker.
