Chili con Carne

  1. Heat the salad oil in a large frying pan.
  2. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and the garlic, cook and stir for 5 minutes. Break up the beef with 2 forks so it all browns.
  4. Add the kidney beans, with liquid, tomatoes, and chili powder.
  5. Simmer until thick, season with salt.
