Chili con Carne
- 3 Tbs salad oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 2 cups stewed tomatos
- 1 Tbs chili powder
- Heat the salad oil in a large frying pan.
- Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and the garlic, cook and stir for 5 minutes. Break up the beef with 2 forks so it all browns.
- Add the kidney beans, with liquid, tomatoes, and chili powder.
- Simmer until thick, season with salt.
