Cream Cheese Icing
- 4 Tbs butter, at room temperature
- 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted after measuring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup finely chopped candied ginger optional
- In a bowl beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Beat in the sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla and optional candied ginger.
