Cucumber Martini

Makes 2

  1. Mix gin and thick cucumber slices in pitcher.
  2. Cover and chill overnight or up to 3 days.
  3. Strain gin, discarding thick cucumber slices.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup gin into cocktail shaker.
  5. Add 1 Tbs (or more) vermouth, then fill shaker with ice.
  6. Shake vigorously; strain into glass.
  7. Repeat with remaining gin and desired amount of vermouth.
  8. Garnish with thin cucumber slices and serve.
