Lemon-Lime Ice Cream
Makes 1/2 gallon
- 1 lemon, zested
- 1 lime, zested
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 pint light cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 dashes of salt
- Place light cream and zests in a small saucapan over low heat.
- Heat for about 10 minutes, do not let boil.
- Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Chill before freezing, as needed.
- Freeze using an ice cream maker.
