Maple Butter Frosting
- 1/2 stick 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar, or more
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- Cream the butter with 2 cups of sugar.
- Add the syrup and beat until creamy.
- Add more sugar if necessary to make a spreading consistency.
