Spicy Hoisin Glaze

Makes about 2/3 cup

  1. Whisk vinegar and cornstarch together in a small saucepan until cornstarch has dissolved.
  2. Whisk in hoisin, corn syrup, Sriracha, ginger, and five-spice powder.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute.
  5. Transfer glaze to bowl.
