Maple Syrup Cake

Serves 8 or more

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. Mix together the syrup, cream, and eggs and add to the flower mixture.
  4. Beat well and stir in the butter.
  5. Turn into a 9 by 13 inch pan that has been greased and lined with wax paper.
  6. Bake 35-40 minutes.
  7. Cool on a rack. Serve with or without the Maple Butter Frosting.
